Just a Taste

Sorry that Google’s Followers have been down (Google Friend Connect).  Not sure why.  But, you can still subscribe through Google reader.  One way is to hit “Subscribe in a Reader” on the right and that will give you Google as one of the choices!

Here is just a taste of some of the projects we did over the weekend.

That’s right!  Another painted chair!  It’s a wingback again and I am painting the legs and the upholstery the same color.   However,  this time, it’s textured,  and not velvet.  And, I skipped the latex phase to see what would happen!  Stay tuned.

I got really friendly with paint this weekend!  How hard is it to find lemon yellow spray paint?!  It’s all safety yellow, like a yield sign or school bus.  Yet, they have nice little names like Sunshine.

It took me forever to find one store with a more lemony shade, but in the end, Ace Hardware saved my booty.   Is there a good local source for spray paint that I just don’t know about?

I also enjoyed making some of my own printable art and some for others!  This is in my bathroom and is an Austin Powers reference.

And, here is where you gasp… I went to Savers for the first time today!!  I’ve been missing out.  It’s awesome – just like Goodwill but better.  I had no idea!  I had seen it a million times but never stopped in.  And, everything was 50% off today.  Wish I had more time!

I am changing the “craft room” to “my studio.”  I worked on it  as well and expect to have a reveal within a couple of weeks!

Hope you all had a great weekend!
