We rsvp’d to a kid’s birthday party that took place this past weekend. However, I didn’t take the time to really read the invitation fully until the last minute. It’s a costume party?! Adults and children. So, we had to think of something quick! Here are some of the ideas I pinned on Pinterest (click there to see them up close).
I always prefer homemade costumes!
A few of my favorite easy to make costumes?
So, we made these easy to make costumes that were kid friendly.
Are you making a costume this year? What are you making?

These are adorable! I made one out of two this year. My son is 101 Dalmatian obsessed so I made him a “Lucky Costume”. Can’t wait to see him in it. After three nights of failed attempts at a reproduction, I gave up on making Spider Girl and ordered the costume online. Not thrilled with the quality, but the way things were looking the homemade route, it can’t be too much worse!
Have a great Halloween. Your costumes are fabulous!
These are awesome!!! Love that they are so easy to put together too.
I’m reusing a clown costume that my sister-in-law wore in 6th grade…which was about 20 years ago. It’s amazingly hideous. I work in a medical clinic and we have a costume contest on Halloween. The pharmacy is going to be the circus/carnival. I’m a clown. My co-worker is going to be the bearded lady. Should be good times!
P.S. Your costumes are adorable!
that bowl of spaghetti is something else! Adorable! I am actually having a Halloween party this year…..something I have always wanted to do. Costumes optional but have heard several that will be dressing up. I am going to be a convict….lol……the stripe costume was easy and so comfortable to wear. xo
