Did you know Home Decorators sells lighting that comes with a conversion kit allowing you to convert can lights to pendant lights?
There is also a such thing as a can converter that converts can lights to work for any other light fixture.
This particular kit looks like this.
You unscrew the light bulb and screw in the converter.
Then, install the fixture.

With most new houses now coming with can lights only in breakfast rooms, this is handy. Have you ever used this type of converter kit?

I’ve never used one of these kits, but I kinda threw a makeshift one together when we lived in our old apartment. I bought one of those outlet things that screw into a light bulb socket and then wired my light to a plug. It did the trick, but I would have loved to have found one of these!
