New Custom Sofa Table!

I ordered this custom 86 inch long sofa table made from barn wood from an Etsy shop owner, Jacqueline.  She was amazing to work with – awesome communication.  She had it made and shipped within 5 days and then it arrived just a couple of days later from Minnesota!

Here it is, though please ignore the crazyness of the room.  It’s barely unpacked and is not put together.

Her shop is called The Lake Nest.  It was very reasonably priced, even with shipping!

Here it is a little closer up.

What do you think?!  Where else are you going to get a sofa table this long??

Those are my fabric swatches that I’m playing around with laying on the top of the table.  Hoping to incorporate some navy!  But, not exactly sure what I’m going to do just yet!  I may veer from the original plan a bit.

Even though I have no idea how the lamps will plug in (didn’t think that through!) and am not done making it look pretty, I wanted to share with you so you can go visit her shop on etsy and order something custom!

  1. Love the sofa table! Can’t wait to see your new space.

  2. That was fast and it looks great! I’ll have to go check her out. And, if you figure out how to plug the lamps in do share. I just put two behind my couch and can’t plug them in either :D

  3. Totally just ordered a bunch of that navy print fabric to make pillows for my living room. Great minds think alike :)

  4. I love seeing the Table in it’s new home, and the room already looks fabulous!! Thank You Kristy! On The light issue: brown extension cord and run under sofa to outlet, maybe even use an automatic timer on them?

  5. I love it all! Is your basement unfinished so you can put in floor plugs? I love the lamps but have you thought of lanterns that would not require electricity?

    • No basement here. :( The lamps are awesome, so I think I may hide the cords. However, lanterns are a fabulous backup should the cord hiding not go well!

  6. Fabulous sofa table Kristy. Looks very high quality. Yes, very long but works wonderfully in every way. I can see why you wanted it that length.

Just a side note, your office drawing on the other link….that office of yours in AZ was just so incredibly well done. I think I loved your office more than just about anything else in your house that day we were there. I must ask, where did you get that glass message board above your long desk? My realtor & I both thought we needed one just like it. Were you able to take it with you to TX? Bet your glad you’re not here with the heat we’re having now!
