  2. Not sure what I’d use it for yet… but I’d love to get my hands on the plum for a future project!

  3. I juat moved into my first apartment in Boston and I have been trying to fecorate it on my waitress income. My budget pretty much includes finding things for free that people leave on the curb.

I would use the paint to cover this chair I found with great wood work but really horrible faded salmon color that reminds me of something from my grandmother’s house. At the moment it just looks like something I got off off the side of the road (which I did). It doesn’t fit in at all with the apartment or me for that matter.

I discovered Simply Spray and found your giveaway on their FB page. I NEED this stuff! I’m thinking my headboard will look great in Caribbean Blue! :)

  25. I also “liked” both you and simply spray on facebook!

  26. Please please please chose me!! I’ve had the same Wal-Mart outdoor furniture for 6 years and it needs a face lift. It has a black metal base and ugly taupe cushions. I would love to paint the cushions the charcoal grey color. I didn’t even know this was an option until you blogged about it. What a wonderful product!

  32. Hi, this product sounds amazing! I have a hand-me-down nicely made arm chair that needs new life. It’s dark green with cherry wood arms and legs, so I would love to change the cushions to the charcoal grey or camel color and then paint the wood white or off white. With a makeover this chair would be perfect in my home office.

  33. I’ve pinned a product too, thanks!

  34. I would LOVE to paint my wingback chair that’s been sitting in my attic…this would definitely help get me started!

  35. sheila kienzle

I have a couple of vintage swivel tub chairs. The fabric is so 70′s there isn’t anything I can do to update them except paint them. Brilliant idea. Great way to recycle our upholstered pieces.

  36. I’d use it on an old footstool that my dog loves.

Thanks for all of the hard work that goes into your blog!

I shared the link on FB too!
What a great way to update on the cheap, Thanks for the info Kristy!!

  47. So glad to find this today – before the contest ends. I have a chair I LOVE that I had re-uphosltered (sp) 8 years ago in white – before 2 kids and don’t have the budget to redo again but it is looking tired & oh so shabby…

this could be the perfect answer!!! in burnt orange… just liked the facebook page! THANKS

  48. I have a sofa I want to try this on. I have been debating between slipcovering or reupholstering it, but I don’t want to spend the fortune I have already had quoted for it. The fabric is still in great shape, but the color is just not doing it for me anymore. And since I’m planning to go charcoal anyway, this might be a good solution! Thanks for your series and your painting tutorials! So much great info before I dive in to my project.
